ENERGY DIPLOMACY, GEOPOLITICS AND ECONOMY POLICY OF TURKEY

Energy is an indispensable element of the country’s economic and diplomatic power. As much as a country’s natural resource wealth, its geopolitical position is important. Because the geopolitical position plays a big role in transporting the resource and reducing its cost. Turkey, on the other hand, is in an important place due to its geopolitical position, even if it does not have enough resources in the world energy game. Despite being in such an important position, it also provides the most budget deficit through energy spending. The aim of this study is to discuss Turkey’s position in the world energy game from a diplomatic, economic and geopolitical perspective.

SEVERITY OF DEDICATION: SUICIDE ATTACKS IN PALESTINE

Although the comprehension and analysis of the subject seems quite complicated according to the perspectives, the basis of the dominant understandings; It is based on freedom and terrorism. Along with these perspectives, examining suicide attacks as they are purely political will bring a stereotypical approach to the subject. Besides, New Zealand was generally considered as a safe country for migrants and refugees. The fact that the terrorist attack was targeting Muslims attending Friday prayers, made it a global issue rather than a domestic one in New Zealand.

In the period between the early 1960s and the end of the 1980s, the strategic convergence required by the cold war for both the USA and the Western world and the Soviets played a leading role in the development of the underdeveloped countries and especially the newly independent countries. For the Western world, preventing the global spread of Soviet influence was of utmost importance, as the underdeveloped countries did not shift to socialism.

According to Freedom House’s 2021 reports, the country’s assessment score for political rights and civil liberties is 93 out of hundred.
